favorite christmas carols

I LOVE christmas music!
There's something about them that swells my heart with love and togetherness
Some years I can hardly wait until the day after thanksgiving when we can start listening to them! (this is Joel's rule...)

My favorite tunes to listen to this time of year are:
Carol of the Bells
Holy Night
12 days of Christmas (only by Straight no Chaser)
What Child is This
Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring

O Christmas Tree
Silent Night

    I love anything Christmas sang by Frank Sinatra! Currently we have Brian Seltzer's Orchestra's Christmas collection in the mix.....and have been listening since my birthday in September!! My all time favorites are Little Drummer Boy, Let it Snow, Silent Night and Oh Holy Night! I just love this time of year! We are putting up our tree, listening to Christmas music and drinking egg nog this afternoon! Awesomeness!

    Usually I wait too, but this year I couldn't! I too, love Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and Mele Kalikimaka :) But my favorite two are O Come O Come Emmanuel and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.

    Hands down, Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You"! Followed closely by Springsteen's "Merry Christmas Baby" and "Santa Claus is comin to Town". If I hear any of those, then everything else waits while I sing along - loudly. Also, if it's Springsteen, then I call David.
